330 million external sales, 1200 digital experts, ten locations and the entire Customer Journey from a single source: The PIA Group confirms the completed acquisition of UDG United Digital Group and launches the attack on the number 1 digital service provider.
Originally developed from an idea, UDG and PIA have positioned themselves differently on the market. Both companies have the same high quality standards and customer-centric thinking. With the UDG acquisition, PIA underlines the strategic importance of UX expertise and technology know-how for the entire group and, with more than 1200 digital experts, is the leading enabler in data driven marketing. New to the PIA customer portfolio are global blue chip customers such as Porsche, Beiersdorf, Volkswagen, Stihl, KSB and Puma.
"We are proud to be able to offer our customers a service portfolio consisting of ten strong own brands that cover both best-of-breed individual solutions and, in combination, all the digital touchpoints of a customer journey through to CRM. UDG adds an elementary piece of expertise to the puzzle, which we are very pleased about," says PIA CEO Christian Tiedemann.
With the closing, PIA acquires 100% of the three companies UDG Rhein-Main GmbH, UDG Hamburg GmbH and UDG Ludwigsburg GmbH as well as the brand name UDG United Digital Group.
The three long-standing UDG managers Markus Lucht, Mathias Reinhardt and Ulrich Bartholmös will remain Managing Partners of UDG. They report to PIA CEO Christian Tiedemann. Marcus H. Starke is not transferred to PIA management.
The responsible parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
